Over the years, Midnight Rodeo has adopted more than a few slogans that actually originated from our guests. Three appear above that have not only stuck but offer most of the insight that you need to know on this Texas country nightlife hot spot.

Born in 1982 in San Antonio, Midnight Rodeo is proud to now call San Angelo home. Our newest location is located at 2581 Sunset Drive in Southwest Plaza (see map on contact page).

18,000 square feet loaded with air-conditioning create a paradise for those who enjoy scootin’ boots in an environment that ensures our guests comfort at all times. 4 full service bars anchor 9 bartender wells so guests can receive prompt and courteous service from any angle. The patented “race track” style dance floor is made of solid oak and actually surrounds one of the bars inside.

The appeal of country music transcends all age groups and Midnight Rodeo certainly takes advantage of that, pushing over 3,000 watts of power to deliver your favorite songs through state of the art sound equipment.

“We are Texas and in this great state, country music is still king,” says DJ Aaron Gette. Aaron serves up music from a menu that’ll remind you of a line from the movie, The Blues Brothers. When Jake (John Belushi) asks what kind of music is played at the venue he seeks to perform in, he gets the following: “We play both kinds of music here, country and western.” The biggest hits of country today are blended with the great classics, spiced up with a touch of Texas music then topped with dance hits all can hit the floor to! Will you hear George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Merle Haggard, The Randy Rogers Band, AC/DC and maybe even Rhianna? Why not!
